This year's Kahn Bellows lecture series will consist of three lectures on Jewish
Art. The first of these will be next Thursday, (18th March), be given by Prof.
Mel Alexenberg based on the article "On Being a Zionist Artist in
a Networked Age" (follow the link to view)". The second
and third lectures will be after Pesach.
- The Berman’s Outreach Group (Psifas) together with Havayyot Schweitz is sponsoring a Pre-pesach evening of learning b’chavruta of the Haggada and other Pesach sources.
When: Wednesday 17/3/10, 20:00
Where: Havayyot Schweitz, Basel Building, 2nd floor.
The learning is for adults and will be led by Rachel Buchbut, a knowledgeable and experienced discussion leader. Admission is free. For more details contact Ilana 057-570-6592.
- As every year, Berman members are entreated to share with the less fortunate in the Rehovot community through maot chitim charitable donations. Checks should be made out to “Rabbi Jacob Berman Community Center" with a notation that the funds are for the shul “keren tzedaka pessach”. The checks should be delivered to the Gabbaim or sent via mail to:

With the present economic malaise wrecking havoc on social welfare budgets at all levels, members are encouraged to both be generous and to make their donations as soon as possible.

HOSPITALITY, COMINGS & GOINGS
The community wishes to know about new arrivals or people planning to come to
Rehovot so that we can welcome them. You may send in their details for the
weekly bulletin, to hospitality@bermanshul.org or to Chaya
Tannor.
- Orit has come to Bermans a number of times, likes the community and was hoping to be invited to eat at and sleep over for both first chag of Pesach (seder) and lunch and second chag. She is religious, while her family is not...and they live at the other end of Rehovot so she prefers not to have a long /hot walk. She speaks hebrew and english is 30+. I can invite her for a meal at the end, but am very full for the beginning. Chaya . Tizku lemitzvot. Orit can be reached at 054-7224638

- You may have your event listed as an anonymous "private event" so that others
