  • Early minyan this shabbat morning is at 6:20 AM
     
  • This year's Kahn Bellows lecture series will consist of three lectures on Jewish Art. The first of these will be next Thursday, (18th March), be given by Prof. Mel Alexenberg based on the article "On Being a Zionist Artist in a Networked Age" (follow the link to view)". The second and third lectures will be after Pesach.
     
  • The Berman’s Outreach Group (Psifas) together with Havayyot Schweitz is sponsoring a Pre-pesach evening of learning b’chavruta of the Haggada and other Pesach sources.
       When: Wednesday 17/3/10, 20:00
       Where: Havayyot Schweitz, Basel Building, 2nd floor.
    The learning is for adults and will be led by Rachel Buchbut, a knowledgeable and experienced discussion leader. Admission is free. For more details contact Ilana 057-570-6592.
     
  • As every year, Berman members are entreated to share with the less fortunate in the Rehovot community through maot chitim charitable donations. Checks should be made out to “Rabbi Jacob Berman Community Center" with a notation that the funds are for the shul “keren tzedaka pessach”. The checks should be delivered to the Gabbaim or sent via mail to: Jacob Berman Community Center, P.O. Box 1146, Rehovot 76111.
    With the present economic malaise wrecking havoc on social welfare budgets at all levels, members are encouraged to both be generous and to make their donations as soon as possible.
     
  • A community member is sought to lead the תענית בכורות סיום בערב פסח.
