ANNOUNCEMENTS

• The Berman Community outreach group, "Psefas" (Mosaic) and Matnas Chavayot are co-sponsoring a movie screening this Motsei Shabbat. "Chammamot" (Hothouses) is a must-see movie is about a woman's courage in the face of adversity... a story about a courageous woman who saves the family hothouses from Gush Katif after her husband is traumatized . The actress will lead a discussion after the movie. 6/3/10 at 20:30 at Chavayot Tsafon, 52 Sireni. Tickets are NIS 35 if purchased in advance (Penina 931-0700), or NIS 45 on Saturday night. Please mention that you are a Bermans member when buying your ticket(s). 
   
• The גילוי מצבה for Rav Gershon Shain will take place at the Rehovot cemetery, I"H, on Wednesday, March 10th.
  • Mincha at 3:45 p.m.
  • Azkara at 4:00 p.m.
     
• Families that are interested in having shabbat hagadol meals in the Yeshiva dining hall catered by Yoel, please contact Mechael Kanovsky ASAP by email to kanovsky@yahoo.com. If there is a critical mass of people interested, we will approach the Yeshiva and work out the details.

LOST

• Red army beret: On Purim, Hagai - bless him -- left Uncle Mike's red paratroopers' "kumta" (army beret) somewhere in the shul grounds -- if anyone happened to see it, please could you let us know.

• There were several tzedaka boxes that were put out for Purim. One of them was for Yeshivat Or Etzion. The box was moved from where it was originally (in the entrance room where the sidurim are) to the shul bimah sometime between after the first Megilah reading and the last reading and the money was removed. If anyone has any knowledge about the whereabouts of the money from that box please contact Rav Motti Goldreich.

The city has put up a really ugly monument of a tank in the traffic circle on the corner of Hanassi Harishon and Harav Herzog. The tank is shown as if its falling into a ditch.
