ANNOUNCEMENTS

Mazal tov to Edith & Paul Linden on the marriage of their son Noam to Hila Draus, daughter of Zion & Yona Draus of Rishon LeZion.
The third meeting of the new weekly shiur, Parshat Hashavua: Reading Between the Lines by Prof. David Tannor, will be this Shabbat, Parshat Toldot, after Kiddush (from 11:00-11:30 AM) in the back of the shul. The shiur, is in English and analyzes the parsha through rabbinic (and occasionally non-rabbinic) eyes. Beginning and advanced students of the Parsha (women and men) are warmly invited.
We are organizing group from the shul to go for a Friday-Shabbat getaway on 8th-9th January 2010 (Parshat Shemot). Shabbat will be spent in the Har Tavor Hotel near Kfar Tavor. Further details are posted on the shul calendar.

The community wishes to know about new arrivals or people planning to come to Rehovot so that we can welcome them. You may send in their details for the weekly bulletin, to hospitality@bermanshul.org or to Chaya Tannor.

Rhonda Epstein and her 8 year-old daughter are considering making aliyah next year. From her description of what they are looking for, Rehovot sounds like a nice match.
Would someone who has a child her daughter's age write to her and say hello? She was given some general information, but there is nothing like someone with a child your child's age. She, herself, is a widow in her mid-40's.

I'm an Electronic Engineer (B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from Machon Lev, cum laude) looking for a job, preferably in digital circuit design (VHDL) or digital image / signal processing, although I'd be interested to hear about any job offer for electronic engineers. I also have high knowledge in C++, Visual Basic, HTML, Javascript, Matlab, VHDL and Microsoft Office.
I speak German (mother tongue), excellent English, Hebrew and French.
