HOSPITALITY, COMMUNITY, COMINGS & GOINGS
The community wishes to know about new arrivals or people planning to come to
Rehovot so that we can welcome them. You may send in their details for the
weekly bulletin, to
hospitality@bermanshul.org or to Chaya Tannor.
- The organization Nativ, whose purpose is to guide halachakly non-Jewish soldiers
go through the giyur process, has asked our kehilla to host a group of soldiers
(male and female) on shabbat Noach (I know that the Marders have a bar mitzvah
that shabbat but we cleared it with them). We need about 12 families to host two
soldiers each and give them a positive shabbat experience and possibly be a
mentoring and support family in their giyur process.
To all those who are interested please contact Ilana Friedlander at either
stevenf@netvision.net.il or at
057-570-6592 ASAP.
- Jeremy Seltzer is 22 and newly arrived from the U.S. for 2 years of graduate
studies in chemistry.
He is interested in invitaions. Call him at 052-527 7805.
