  • Etrog liquer recipe:
    • 96% alcohol (buy in supermarket liquor section)
    • cut peel off etrog and cut in thin pieces soak in alcohol 3 days so that alcohol covers everything. liquid will be dark yellow
    • heat sugar in water in a ratio 2 cups sugar to 3 cups water, until sugar melts
    • remove peels and discard
    • take yellow liquid and add 2 cups of sugar water solution for every 1 cup of the yellow alcohol extract
    • best served chilled!
