& Gadi Ambar of Netanya.

Mazal tov to Alison & Stephen Epstein on the engagement of David Zvi Epstein to
Yael Richardson, daughter of Rabbi Marvin and Maureen Richardson of Jericho New
York. David Zvi and Yael are currently studying in Toronto and plan on getting
married in June.
- Mazal tov to Adele and Tuvia Muskin on the engagement of their granddaughter
Hadar, daughter of Sharon and Reuven Muskin of Talmon to Eitan Adler son of
Rabbi Aharon and Miriam Adler of Ramot, Jerusalem.
- Derech Hatzlacha to Benji Marder, who started his military service this week as
an economist in the Navy
- Looking to do a mitzvah? Great, because the parallel and early minyanim need men
and women, boys and girls, to help set up. >
We call on all
members to help, irrespective of where they themselves daven. Strong,
silent types especially encouraged.
- Parallel Minyan (Yehiva dining room) - Motzei Shabbat
immediately after Maariv (approx. 19:15)
- Hashkama Minyan (Yehiva library) - Erev Yom Kippur immediately after Mincha
Gedola (approx. 13:45).
- Kiruv Project - attention all older teens, pre or post army or students who have
time before university term starts:
We are looking for someone who has about 25 hours to work during chagim period--
before high holidays until end of sukkot, to help with the kiruv project:
○ hanging up posters through town
○ checking on sukka every morning
○ setting up for daily activities in sukka kehillatit
○ pay NIS 25 per hour
Coby Shames had this job last year, was excellent and felt very fulfilled--you
can check with him.

men are listening to repetitions of vezot habracha). We already have 2

- BermaNoar kicks off straight after the chaggim with a whole new program,
tiyulim, shiurim, Shabbatot – stay tuned! First up for all you budding artists
is a competition to design a BermaNoar logo – prizes for the winning and the
most creative entries. Get your creative thinking caps on and please submit your
ideas by Erev Sukkot (2nd October) to Steve Kronengold or Raphy Nudelman.

- I am asking on behalf of an (ex) student of mine, a real 'gantze mensh';-) He
has recently relocated to Toronto and is working in the Israeli Consulate there.
He lives near the consulate in Downtown, and has nowhere to go for any of the
Yom Tovim or Shabbatot.
Do any of you have any relatives/friends in Toronto that could maybe help out?

- The Rehovot Little League team of the Israel Association of Baseball is looking
for motivated 7-10 year-olds (boys and girls) for the 2009-10 season. The
program, which runs from October to June, includes weekly Friday practices and
league games against teams from other cities such as Ra'anana, Modi'in and
Jerusalem.
