ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Mazal tov to Gabriela and Sidney Cohen on the birth of a grandson, and to the
proud new parents Elisheva and Yoni Goldman. Mazal tov
also to Yoni's father, Avraham Goldman of Rehovot.
Shalom Zachor will be at the Cohen's, 24A Chish, starting at 8:45pm.
- The yarzeit for Chazan Shmuel Taube ז"ל will be on Tuesday the 8th of September
י"ט אלול תשס"ט at the cemetery in Rehovot at
4:30 P.M.
- Those who have not yet done so should order their seats for Rosh Hashanah & Yom
Kippur as soon as possible. A letter of explanation and the seating form are
available from the links below. The seating form is available in Excel format to
aid in filling it out digitally.
- Looking to do one last mitzvah before Rosh Hashana? Great, because the parallel
minyan needs men and women, boys and girls, to help set up the yeshiva's dining
room. Thursday September 17th, 8 p.m. before slichot. Strong, silent types
especially encouraged.
- Kiruv Project - attention all older teens, pre or post army or students
who have time before university term starts:
We are looking for someone who has about 25 hours to work during chagim period--
before high holidays until end of sukkot, to help with the kiruv project:
○ hanging up posters through town
○ checking on sukka every morning
○ setting up for daily activities in sukka kehillatit
○ pay NIS 25 per hour
Coby Shames had this job last year, was excellent and felt very fulfilled--you
can check with him.

- Members organizing private events (e.g. wedding, bar/bat mitzva celebrations
etc.) are advised to use the shul calendar as follows:
- You can check for a date that does not clash with another event in the community
- You may have your event listed as an anonymous "private event" so that others
can avoid scheduling another event at the same time. Please let any board member
know, and we will put it on the calendar.
